Pop/Rock Songwriter Celebrates New CD with All Ages
Show Thursday August 5
The “SizzlinSummer
in the D” Series showcases some of Detroit’s
hottest emerging and veteran artists at the Hard Rock Cafe. This original
music series kicks off on Thursday August 5 with a live performance by Michael
Bermudez and special guest Jimmy Atto. Doors are at 7:00 p.m., the show
starts promptly at 8:00 p.m. and all ages are welcome to attend. Admission is
just $5.
Michael Bermudez is currently
celebrating the release of his sophomore CD “Scattered, Hopeless Hearts”, a
confessional of raw emotion and grit, addressing themes of life, love and loss.
The full-length rock disc, infused with pop and jazz undertones, was produced
by Al Sutton (Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow) and Paul Randolph (Jazzonova), and
recorded over a five-month stretch at three Metro Detroit studios including
Rustbelt Studios, Solid Sound Studios and Tempermill Studios.
Supporting Michael Bermudez
is grass roots balladeer Jimmy Atto. Performing over 200 shows a year,
Atto is a touring powerhouse attracting a large and loyal following from coast
to coast. Atto’s Hard Rock show will commemorate the release of his new
single “Belong”, available for sale at the show and on his web site jimmyatto.com.
The Hard Rock Cafe also
validates parking receipts for FREE Parking for those who park at the Farmer
Garage (adjacent to the Compuware
Building). This is a
great way for music fans of all ages to support local music while enjoying
dinner and drinks at the Hard Rock.
